Neosporin H Ear Drop is an ear medication used to treat bacterial ear infections. It helps kill infection-causing bacteria and reduces inflammation, swelling, and discomfort in the ear. Use Neosporin H Ear Drop exactly for the duration prescribed by your doctor and complete the full course even if symptoms improve earlier. Avoid prolonged or unnecessary use. Consult your doctor if symptoms do not improve within a few days or if they worsen. There is limited data on the side effects of Neosporin H Ear Drop. Let your doctor know if you experience any symptoms that bother you or worsen while using the medication. They may be able to suggest ways to treat or manage the side effects. Do not use Neosporin H Ear Drop if you are allergic to any of its components or in viral ear infections such as herpes simplex, vaccinia, or varicella. It should not be used in patients with a perforated eardrum. Prolonged use should be avoided, as long-term exposure to neomycin may increase the risk of hearing damage. Discontinue use if sensitivity or irritation occurs, and consult your doctor.
